Privacy Statement
The Gaming Club Network takes the privacy and protection of any personal information very seriously.
Any personal information gathered will be kept on the GCN database for internal use only in accordance with the Data Protection Act. The GCN will only share this information with third parties in the gaming community (such as game manufacturers or other inter-club organisations) if we have prior permission to do so.
This information may be used for:
- Contact information if we need to contact you.
- By third party organisations to contact you about events or services your club may be interested in (for example, if a game manufacturer would like your club to organise a demo game at an event, for example UK Games Day).
Any personal information gathered as part of the Criminal Record Bureau Disclosure process will be destroyed in accordance with guidelines and requirements in the CRB Disclosure Policy (insert link to document).
Club details (including personal contact information if specifically provided for this purpose), will be made available to the general public to publicise member clubs except where a club specifically asks for this information not to be made public. Typically member club information may be posted on the GCN website, on games manufacturer's websites and in gaming magazines.
